• End Date: April 21, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — Night Shift Telemetry Nursing
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR System: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)

Job Requirements — Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (required)
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with a passing competency testing score, OR 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (no testing required)
• Epic EMR experience required (Epic experience preferred for travel nursing jobs)
• Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission (sent via email)
• Must be able to wear navy blue scrubs per hospital policy
• Local candidates from ineligible counties are not being accepted

Responsibilities — Telemetry Nurse / Med-Surg RN Duties

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit (medical-surgical nursing, acute care)
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and timely clinical interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, RRTs, allied health) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EMR
• Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care and staffing needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment following hospital policies and clinical protocols
