Radiologic Technologist Job Details – Austin, TX

• Location: Austin, TX 78705 – centrally located in downtown with access to entertainment, dining, and parks
• Facility Type: Acute care hospital, Interventional Radiology Department
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: February 16, 2026
• End Date: May 18, 2026
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts), on-call rotation required
• Weekly Hours: 40

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in general and neuro interventional radiology
• Special Procedures Tech certification required
• Experience with Siemens Bi-Plane equipment preferred
• Experience in Neurovascular Intervention and Stroke Care is a plus
• Familiarity with Meditech RIS and Fuji PACS systems preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage shifting patient volumes, and thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong communication, flexibility, compassion, and confidence
• Dress Code: Black pants, Sage/Olive green top, or hospital-issued scrubs

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures, including Perm Cath/Dialysis Cath, Angiogram, Embolization, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Kyphoplasty
• Deliver high-quality imaging and patient care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Participate in on-call rotation for nights and weekends as required
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech RIS and Fuji PACS systems
• Support stroke care protocols in a Comprehensive Stroke Center environment
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and prioritize clinical tasks efficiently
