Seeking an experienced Home Health RN with OASIS and HCHB skills to provide skilled in-home nursing across Spokane County and lower Stevens County. Job Details
- Position: Homecare Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel / Travel RN / Home Health RN
- Location: Spokane Valley, WA 99212 (serving Spokane County and lower Stevens County)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: March 16, 2026
- End Date: June 14, 2026
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nursing / Home Health)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; 1 weekend per month (with a day off before and after the weekend)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- On-Call: Assist with 2 on-call shifts per month (5:00 PM–8:00 AM), if possible
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,420–$2,550
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 if you start in March!
Job Requirements (Home Health RN / Travel RN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 12 months of Home Health RN experience within the past 3 years
- Proficiency with OASIS documentation (OASIS-C2 or current OASIS version)
- Experience using HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home visits
- Strong communication, time management, and clinical documentation skills
Key Responsibilities – Home Health Nursing
- Provide skilled in-home nursing care that promotes patient independence and quality of life
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized home health care plans
- Complete accurate, timely documentation using OASIS and HCHB EMR to support compliance and quality metrics
- Educate patients and caregivers on medication management, symptom monitoring, wound care, and disease processes
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize clinical changes, and coordinate appropriate interventions or referrals
- Collaborate with a geographic team, nurse manager, and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in scheduled weekend rotations and support limited on-call coverage as assigned
