Travel Nursing Job Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR / Vascular Surgery (Perioperative / OR)
• Location: Mountain Home, AR
• Pay Package: Pay package details available upon request
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel nurse contract)
• Start Date: 03/09/2026
• End Date: 06/08/2026
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 5 shifts/week (5x8s), 40 hours/week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Typical Hours: 06:30–15:00
• On-Call: Required – weekday nights (2+ days depending on staffing) and every third weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun)
• Float: May float to Main Hall as needed
• Unit Snapshot: 13 operating rooms; ~650 cases/month with a broad case mix including general surgery, ortho, neuro, cardiovascular, plastics, ENT, urology, and GYN
• Technology: Da Vinci surgical robot; navigational spinal/ENT surgery; hybrid OR for advanced vascular procedures
• Charting/EMR: Cerner experience preferred

CVOR RN Job Requirements

• Experience: 3 years of recent OR/CVOR experience preferred
• Travel Experience: Required
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; ADN required (BSN preferred)
• Licensure: Current Arkansas RN license or Compact (multistate) RN license in good standing
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) required; ACLS and PALS encouraged
• Core Skills: Sterile technique, OR workflow/turnover, perioperative patient safety, patient advocacy, and effective interdisciplinary communication
• Other: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; basic computer proficiency

Key Responsibilities (Perioperative / Operating Room Nursing)

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care for CVOR/vascular surgery patients in the operating room
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia, radiology, and an interdisciplinary perioperative team to support evidence-based practice and patient safety
• Maintain a strict sterile field and support efficient room readiness and turnover
• Provide leadership within the nursing team and contribute to shared governance and a healing culture
• Respond to on-call needs for urgent and emergent cases per schedule
