• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy / GI Procedural RN
• Location: Henrico, VA 23229 (On-site) — West End of Henrico, near Richmond, VA
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: February 9, 2026
• End Date: May 11, 2026
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM; schedule may range from 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel nursing job)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 – $1,920
• Unit: Endoscopy (2 endoscopy suites) — GI endoscopy and pulmonary procedural support
• Dress Code: Hospital-issued scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or multistate (compact) RN license — Virginia nursing jobs eligible
• Minimum 1 year recent Endoscopy or procedural RN experience (GI or pulmonary)
• Experience supporting advanced procedures: ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS preferred
• Strong documentation skills; experience with Meditech Expanse and Provation preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist with advanced GI and pulmonary procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, PillCam, Bravo, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, and bronchoscopy
• Provide pre-op assessment, patient education, and post-procedure recovery/PACU care as assigned
• Coordinate room readiness, supplies, and workflow with techs and the procedural team to support smooth procedural days
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety best practices, including time-outs and safety checklists
• Accurately and timely document nursing care and procedural details in the electronic medical record
• Float to the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) and nearby affiliated facilities as needed
• Participate in daily huddles and contribute to continuous quality improvement for endoscopy services
