• End Date: May 4, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 08:00–17:00
• Shift Length: 8-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40 (32 hours/week guaranteed)
• Weekend Coverage: Rotating
• Call Requirements: None
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,130 – $1,210

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain prior to start (Arizona OT license)
• Minimum 1 year of recent OT experience; inpatient rehab or acute hospital experience preferred
• Experience treating adult and geriatric populations in inpatient rehabilitation
• Comfortable floating to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) as needed
• Strong time management, flexibility, teamwork, and communication skills
• Proficient with clinical documentation and outcomes tracking; Cerner experience a plus
• Education and credentials as required per licensure
• Must meet facility onboarding, background checks, and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide occupational therapy interventions for adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehab setting
• Develop and implement individualized OT care plans focused on ADLs, functional mobility, adaptive equipment, and cognitive/upper extremity programs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team (PT, SLP, nursing, case management) to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home programs, and safe discharge recommendations
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and discharge plans accurately in the EHR (Cerner)
• Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance in all care activities
• Demonstrate adaptability, clinical reasoning, and a continuous learning mindset in a fast-paced inpatient environment
