• Position: Travel Radiation Therapist – Hospital Radiation Oncology (Radiation Therapist jobs, travel)
• Location: On-site in Baraboo, WI 53913 (Sauk County, Wisconsin)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (04/20/2026 – 07/20/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,410 – $2,590
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (08:00–16:30; occasional 07:30–16:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
• Average Treatments per Day: ~18
• Scrubs: Grape purple
• Travel Note: Local candidates within 70 miles not eligible for travel assignment
• Employment Type: Travel (W2)

Requirements (Radiation Therapist Qualifications)

• Minimum 2 years radiation therapist experience required (first-time travel therapists welcome)
• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required (Epic oncology documentation)
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam, ARIA, and Eclipse preferred
• Familiarity with SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT (CBCT, kV imaging), SGRT, and tattooless/markless setups preferred
• Must complete OSHA respirator clearance and pass fit testing (clean shave required for mask seal; PAPRs/CAPRs not permitted)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Key Responsibilities (Radiation Oncology / External Beam Therapy)

• Deliver safe, accurate external beam radiation therapy per physician prescription and department protocols
• Perform patient positioning, immobilization, and tattooless/markless workflows; ensure reproducible setups
• Operate Varian TrueBeam and associated systems using ARIA and Eclipse documentation
• Support advanced treatment techniques including SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT (CBCT, kV imaging), and SGRT
• Maintain thorough treatment records in ARIA and Epic; assist with electronic charting and QA documentation
• Educate patients and families on procedures and radiation safety; respond to patient needs and urgent situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and rapid response services
