• Location: Issaquah, WA 98027 (Seattle area; Pacific Northwest healthcare job)
• Setting: Hospital / Acute Care
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 8-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,580 – $1,700

Who We’re Looking For

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Washington State (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an SLP in a hospital, acute care, or healthcare setting
• Clinical skills in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
• Experience with dysphagia evaluations, instrumental assessments (if available), and bedside swallowing management
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Strong communication, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence in hospital SLP roles

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive SLP services to acute care hospital patients, including dysphagia management and cognitive-communication therapy
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Perform timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system consistent with hospital standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab therapists, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans, safety, and discharge recommendations
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
