- Position: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Hospital (Travel SLP, W2)
- Location: Issaquah, WA 98027 (Seattle area; Pacific Northwest healthcare job)
- Setting: Hospital / Acute Care
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 8-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,580 – $1,700

Who We’re Looking For
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Washington State (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an SLP in a hospital, acute care, or healthcare setting
- Clinical skills in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
- Experience with dysphagia evaluations, instrumental assessments (if available), and bedside swallowing management
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Strong communication, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence in hospital SLP roles
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive SLP services to acute care hospital patients, including dysphagia management and cognitive-communication therapy
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Perform timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system consistent with hospital standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab therapists, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans, safety, and discharge recommendations
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
