- End Date: June 8, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 5 beds
- Shifts: All shifts available (10-hour shifts)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (schedule may be up to 40 hours per week based on facility needs)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500 – $2,630
- Employment Type: Travel, W2
- Housing: Shared contractor housing provided (no pets or family allowed)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience required — proven experience as a critical care nurse
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Current, valid, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- PALS (AHA), TCAR, and NIHSS certifications required within 6 months of hire
- Ability to float to Emergency Department (ED), Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), or Pediatrics as needed
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and independent decision-making skills — ideal for intensive care RN roles
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients of all ages in a 5-bed ICU
- Continuously assess, monitor, and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, manage advanced medical equipment, and perform complex nursing procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans
- Float to the Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics units as census requires
- Provide after-hours recovery care for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members
