Who We’re Looking For
- ABR (American Board of Radiology) certified Medical Physicist required
- Clinical medical physics experience in a hospital or comparable clinical radiation oncology setting preferred
- Experience with EPIC and ARIA RadOnc or equivalent oncology information systems preferred
- Familiarity with CTC-RadOnc/shared-drive documentation and treatment planning systems
- Able to complete onboarding (background check, health screening, credential verification) before start
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and clinical staff
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical medical physics support for radiation therapy and oncology administration during the travel assignment
- Perform routine and special quality assurance (QA) on linear accelerators, planning systems, and dosimetry equipment
- Conduct treatment planning review, chart checks, and patient-specific QA as required
- Utilize and/or rapidly learn EPIC/ARIA RadOnc and CTC-RadOnc documentation workflows
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, AAPM guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and contribute to workflow and process improvements in radiation oncology
