• Duration: 13-week travel contract
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel nursing
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour days)
• Schedule Notes: 4x10s preferred; minimum 10 shifts/month; alternating weekends
• On-Call: Required (7–10 days/month); must arrive onsite within 30 minutes
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 procedural nursing
• Documentation: Meditech
• Dress Code: Surgical scrubs provided
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must meet state-specific Florida travel RN requirements)
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Proven proficiency with procedural care and 1:1 monitoring in IR/EP cases
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and meet 30-minute response time
• Strong documentation skills using Meditech or similar EMR

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Support Electrophysiology (EP) cases and collaborate with the procedural team for complex interventions
• Prepare patients, monitor vitals, and assist with invasive procedures while maintaining sterile technique
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond promptly to urgent procedural needs
• Adhere to institutional policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols
