• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2150–$2260
• Charting / EMR: Epic (perioperative documentation)
• Orientation: 36 hours (modules completed onsite)
• Scrubs: Provided
• Traveler Radius: Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible to work in the U.S.)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) RN / perioperative nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to circulate and manage a variety of surgical cases as a circulating nurse

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative care as a circulating OR RN for patients across the lifespan (pediatrics to geriatrics)
• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for a broad surgical caseload including general, bariatric, vascular, thoracic, ENT, GI/endoscopy, GYN, neuro/spine, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, urology, and robotic procedures
• Verify consents, check and set up equipment and supplies, and support sterile technique and infection prevention standards
• Perform pre-op verification, surgical time-outs, ensure safe patient positioning, and advocate for patients throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize surgical outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic following perioperative documentation standards and facility policy
