- Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract / Travel Nurse

- Contract Duration: 17 weeks (Mar 30, 2026 – Jul 27, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:00pm; shift window 6:45–7:15)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Charting / EMR: MEDITECH (experience preferred)
- Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
Qualifications — Registered Nurse (RN) / Med-Surg
- Minimum 2 years recent Medical-Surgical RN experience in an acute care hospital
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA) required
- MEDITECH EMR experience preferred (Medical-Surgical / acute care charting)
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (strict radius per driver’s license)
Key Responsibilities — Medical-Surgical Nurse
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Manage patient assignments with typical ratios of 1:5 (may be 1:6 as needed)
- Perform focused assessments, monitor patient conditions, and document clinical findings accurately in the EMR
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and coordinate treatments per provider orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff (CNA ratio typically 1:8–1:10)
- Float to other acute care and cardio units as needed, maintaining high standards of care
- Complete general and floor-specific orientation (1 week general orientation, 2 days floor-specific)
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and safe transitions of care
