• Position: Travel Radiation Therapist (Hospital) / Radiation Oncology
• Location: Altoona, PA 16601 — Pennsylvania radiation therapist job

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 28, 2026)
• Schedule: 40 hours/week; 8-hour shifts (any shift)
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,380 – $2,550

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Valid Radiation Therapy certification required (ARRT preferred or state equivalent)
• Ability to work an "any shift" schedule based on department needs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety in a hospital radiation oncology setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary oncology care

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments per physician orders and hospital Radiation Oncology protocols
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and safe operation of linear accelerators and radiation equipment
• Maintain thorough documentation, treatment records, and uphold regulatory compliance
• Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout the radiation therapy process
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospital-based radiation oncology or cancer center settings
• Familiarity with treatment planning workflows and common modalities used in radiation therapy
