Travel RN – LTAC Night Shift in Midtown Atlanta (30308). 13-week contract for experienced Registered Nurses with PCU/LTAC skills. BLS and ACLS required.

- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC / Long-Term Acute Care Nurse (Night Shift)
- Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA 30308 (On-site) — Atlanta RN jobs / Georgia travel nursing
- Start Date: March 23, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through June 22, 2026)
- Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (12 Hour Nights) — Night Shift RN
- Hours per Week: 36
- Openings: 3
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,730 – $1,820
Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible to practice in Georgia
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
- Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical RN experience
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required; LTAC experience highly desired
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care planning skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) with emphasis on rehabilitation and patient education
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses per hospital policy — strong EMR/charting skills preferred
- Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and safety of care
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team conferences relevant to LTAC and post-acute care
- Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching from day of admission
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Promote a safe clinical environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly
- Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment through teamwork and effective communication
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation
