• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC / Long-Term Acute Care Nurse (Night Shift)
• Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA 30308 (On-site) — Atlanta RN jobs / Georgia travel nursing
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through June 22, 2026)
• Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (12 Hour Nights) — Night Shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Openings: 3
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,730 – $1,820

Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible to practice in Georgia
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical RN experience
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required; LTAC experience highly desired
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care planning skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) with emphasis on rehabilitation and patient education
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses per hospital policy — strong EMR/charting skills preferred
• Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and safety of care
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team conferences relevant to LTAC and post-acute care
• Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching from day of admission
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Promote a safe clinical environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment through teamwork and effective communication
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation
