• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880–$2,010 (competitive travel OT pay)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Occupational Therapy (OT) experience required; prior inpatient rehab experience strongly preferred
• Active, valid Occupational Therapist (OT) state license (Missouri or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and clinical documentation skills (EMR experience preferred)
• Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT/COTA students
• Proven ability to provide evidence-based OT interventions for ADLs, mobility, upper extremity function, and safety

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive functional assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with patient and family goals
• Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, independence, and upper extremity function
• Recommend, fit, and train patients/families on adaptive equipment, assistive devices, splints, and home safety modifications
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborate on discharge planning, and provide patient/family education for safe transitions
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record per department and regulatory policies
• Promote a culture of safety: safe patient handling, infection prevention, and hazard reporting
• Supervise and mentor COTAs and OT/COTA students; assist with onboarding and orientation as needed
• Maintain professionalism in attendance, appearance, and patient confidentiality while demonstrating flexibility in scheduling
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and department operations
