• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,570 – $1,650

• Facility: Newly opened 30-bed hospital with advanced patient care amenities
• Unit: Acute Care / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Progressive Care Nurse, Acute Care RN, Step-Down RN
• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• End Date: May 25, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Travel Nursing Assignment)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) — Night Shift Travel RN
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to Emergency Department (ED) as needed — ED float opportunity
• EMR: Cerner (Cerner EMR experience preferred)
• Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year recent ICU, Step-Down, or Progressive Care RN experience required (Critical care / high-acuity patient management)
• Travel Experience: At least one prior travel nursing assignment required (Travel RN experience preferred)
• License: Active RN license (state or compact) — North Carolina RN licensure acceptable
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Skills: Ventilator and advanced equipment management, arterial/central line monitoring, strong assessment and teamwork skills
• Personality Fit: Outgoing, collaborative, driven to provide excellent patient care

Responsibilities – Acute Care / PCU Nurse Duties

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for acute and progressive care patients as a Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Monitor and manage advanced therapies and equipment (ventilators, arterial lines, central lines)
• Perform and assist with unit procedures such as thoracentesis assistance, dressing changes, and central/arterial line care
• Complete and document comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and care coordination in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and quality initiatives
• Float to the Emergency Department (ED) as needed within scope and competency
