- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,750–$2,890/week
Job Details (Travel Nursing Contract)
- Job Title: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) / CVOR Travel Nurse
- Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Southeast Michigan healthcare job)

- End Date: 06/15/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel (On-Site)
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Shift Duration: 10 Hour Days
- Shift Options:
- Rotating D/E: 2x8s (06:30–14:30 / 14:30–22:30) and 2x12s (06:30–18:30 / 10:30–22:00)
- Alternate option: rotating 5x8s (06:30–14:30 / 14:30–22:30)
- On-Call: 2–4 weeknights and 1–2 weekends per 4-week schedule (per the facility call program, no call shift is ever longer than 12 hours)
- Openings: 2
Job Requirements (CVOR RN Qualifications)
- Experience: 2+ years of recent CVOR RN / cardiovascular OR experience required
- Licensure: Must have MI license in-hand at time of submission; compact license not accepted
- Certifications: ACLS, CNOR, and BLS (required certs must be obtained prior to start date)
- Clinical Skills: Strong scrub experience (scrub proficiency expected); perioperative nursing and sterile technique
- References: Two manager/supervisor references required (charge RN references not accepted)
- Availability: No RTO the first week of contract
Responsibilities (Perioperative / Operating Room Nursing)
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a CVOR setting for adult and geriatric patients with complex, high-acuity surgical needs
- Scrub and/or circulate for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures while maintaining sterile technique
- Support cardiac cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, ECMO, LVAD/RVAD, Heart Transplant, MAZE, and Aortic Balloon/Impella
- Assist with thoracic procedures such as VATS/Open Lobectomy, VATS Wedge Resection, Esophagectomy, Bronchoscopy, EGD, Mediastinal Mass Removal, and Lung Transplant
- Support vascular cases including AAA/EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistulas, Bypass Procedures, and Vein Stripping/Ablation
