Travel Nurse Job Details

• Shifts: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week (night shift travel nurse)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

PCU Registered Nurse Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or progressive care RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be willing to work night shifts (12-hour nights)
• No local applicants within 100 miles of Morgantown, WV. However, candidates residing at least 50 miles away may be considered.

PCU / Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding promptly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education on care plans and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
