- Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Cleveland medical district; Cleveland healthcare jobs)
- Position: Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient BMT
- Unit: Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), 30 beds
- Assignment Type: Travel nursing (13-week contract)
- Start / End Dates: April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, Any; rotating Day/Night every 2 weeks (straight nights accommodated)
- RN-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 (day/evening), 1:5 (nights)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 – $2,480

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) or inpatient oncology nursing experience (preferred BMT/hematology experience)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio or Compact RN license accepted)
- Valid ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card
- Ability to work rotating shifts or straight nights as needed
- Strong assessment, clinical prioritization, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Completion of onboarding requirements (immunizations, background check, skills checklist, etc.)
- Familiarity with oncology nursing standards, chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, and hematologic patient management
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct oncology nursing care to patients with malignant hematologic disorders on the inpatient BMT unit
- Monitor and manage patients receiving complex oncology therapies, including chemotherapy and biotherapy
- Support and participate in clinical research protocols (note: travel RNs will not be expected to infuse stem cells or CAR-T cells)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and transplant coordinators—to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, symptom management, neutropenic precautions, and discharge readiness
- Maintain accurate documentation, medication administration records, and uphold patient safety and infection control standards
