Compensation
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,120–$3,290 per week
Job Requirements (Registered Nurse / Nurse Manager)
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing (required)
- License: Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
- Experience: 3–5 years of current clinical nursing experience (required)
- Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory experience in a Med/Surg setting (required)
- Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required) and ACLS (required)
- Preferred Certifications: Clinical Nurse Leader OR Nursing Administration
- Preferred Education: MSN (or active matriculation in an accredited MSN program)
- Preferred Experience: Developing a Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) or similar academic-practice partnership
- Skills: Leadership, team-building, collaboration, negotiation, problem-solving, and strong written/verbal communication
Responsibilities (Clinical Nurse Manager – Med/Surg)
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations for assigned Medical/Surgical units and the Joint Center
- Organize and direct nursing unit workflows to ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient care
- Lead staffing coordination, support nursing staff and students, and promote a culture of accountability and engagement
- Maintain a professional practice environment that supports nurses, learners, and an exceptional patient experience
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support a collaborative approach to care and meet quality standards, including improvement processes
- Ensure adherence to organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Provide leadership accountability with 24/7 responsibility for unit performance, staff support, and program outcomes
