Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience — telemetry nurse jobs and medical-surgical RN experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts with alternating weekends and holidays
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and common telemetry equipment

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients on the Telemetry unit (cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition)
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document interventions, changes, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and education to patients and families
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including infection control and patient safety initiatives
