• Unit: Pingree 4 Medical Cardiology – 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit (Cardiac Telemetry)
• Assignment Type: Travel, On-Site – Travel Registered Nurse role
• Start Date: April 5, 2026
• End Date: July 4, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend required — Night Shift RN / Telemetry Nurse
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• RN-to-Patient Ratio: Days 1:5, Nights 1:6

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience with a strong cardiac/telemetry background — ideal for Telemetry RN and Cardiac Telemetry RN candidates
• License: Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing
• Certifications: AHA BLS required
• Skills: Proficient in telemetry strip interpretation, arrhythmia/rhythm recognition, and cardiac drip initiation, titration, and monitoring
• Preferred Experience: Post-cath care, PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator), PPM (permanent pacemaker), ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach care

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical cardiology patients on a telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Telemetry Nurse
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, escalate meaningful changes promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
• Initiate, titrate, and monitor cardiac drips per protocol and provider orders; manage medication safety for critical cardiac therapies
• Provide focused post-catheterization and interventional cardiology patient care, including monitoring for complications and supporting recovery
• Perform comprehensive assessments, plan and evaluate patient care, and document thoroughly in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, case management, and ancillary staff to support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with unit standards, patient safety practices, and clinical policies for telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
