Travel Endoscopy RN opportunity in Mesa, Arizona (85202) supporting patient care across the endoscopy unit. This 13-week travel nursing contract is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with recent endoscopy experience and flexibility for call, weekends, and floating. You’ll be working on-site in Mesa (85202), known for its vibrant dining scene, easy access to outdoor recreation, and a variety of local attractions to enjoy on your days off.

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel (W2)

- Schedule: Varied schedule; 4x10s
- Shift Times: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Hours per Week: Typically 40 hours; facility may cancel up to one shift per week for low census (30 hours guaranteed)
- On-Call: Required; schedule determined by the facility
- Weekend/Holiday: Required; schedule determined by the facility
- Floating: Must be willing to float to similar units and/or a sister campus if needed
Compensation
- Weekly Estimated Pay Range: $2120–$2230
Job Requirements (Endoscopy RN)
- Eligibility: Arizona residents are not eligible for travel assignments in Arizona facilities.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years (24 months) of Endoscopy RN experience, including recent experience within the last 12 months
- License: Active Arizona RN license (in good standing)
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA/ARC/ASHI accepted)
- Skills Checklist: Endoscopy skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Compliance: Ability to meet background and onboarding standards and provide required documentation (e.g., license verification, certifications, identification)
- Travel Experience: Highly preferred (travel nurse / contract RN experience)
Responsibilities (Procedural Nursing & Clinical Support)
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures across the peri-procedural continuum (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure)
- Perform and document patient assessments and support patient flow through the endoscopy unit according to facility policies
- Monitor and document patient status during the peri-procedural period per unit protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the procedural team to support efficient, patient-centered care
- Deliver post-procedure recovery care, discharge teaching, and patient/family education as assigned
- Respond to on-call needs and support weekend/holiday coverage as scheduled
- Float to similar units/sister campus when needed to support patient care
