• Location: Davenport, IA 52803 — Quad Cities travel nursing opportunity
• Assignment Type: Travel / Contract (Travel Nursing)
• Setting: Birth Center (Labor & Delivery Unit) — OB nurse role
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every third weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 – $2,180 (estimated travel nurse pay)

Job Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license valid in Iowa (Labor & Delivery licensure required)
• Ability to complete onboarding: health screenings, competency testing, and background checks
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; comfortable in fast-paced birth center environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status, including continuous fetal heart rate monitoring and maternal vital signs
• Assist with labor management, vaginal and assisted deliveries, and immediate newborn stabilization
• Provide postpartum care, patient education, and discharge teaching to families
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record and communicate changes in condition
• Participate in every-third-weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
