- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse)

- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend required
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,910 – $2,010
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float between Mercy Main and West Des Moines campuses as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or a valid compact state RN license (compact-eligible RNs encouraged to apply)
- No minimum Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required; Oncology nursing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability and willingness to float to other units and affiliated campuses when needed (Mercy Main and West Des Moines)
- Completion of onboarding requirements: background check, drug screen, health screenings, competency testing, and required documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry and Oncology unit
- Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and promptly recognize cardiac and clinical changes
- Administer medications and IV therapy safely and document patient care accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float between Mercy Main and West Des Moines campuses or other units as needed to support patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure quality and compliance
