Join a dynamic and compassionate team as an Outpatient RN specializing in breast surgery and oncology nursing. This 13-week travel contract offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on high-risk cancer patients and those genetically predisposed to breast cancer. Based primarily at the Edmonds Clinic (Seattle, WA), with occasional floating to First Hill and Issaquah, you will provide ambulatory care, patient education, care coordination, and clinical support in a busy breast oncology clinic.

Job Details
- Location: Seattle, WA (primarily Edmonds Clinic; floating to First Hill and Issaquah)
- Role Type: 13-week travel nurse contract (Outpatient / Ambulatory Care RN)
- Contract Length: April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts; 40 hours/week
- No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Visits per Day: Approximately 12 (ambulatory breast surgery/oncology clinic)
Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,960 - $2,070/week
Job Requirements (Qualifications)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Compact License (WA)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient/ambulatory care or oncology nursing (inpatient or outpatient)
- BLS certification (required)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR/charting system (required)
- Strong skills in telephone triage, surgical patient teaching, post-op drain care, and care coordination
- Excellent communication, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a surgical breast oncology clinic for high-risk and newly diagnosed patients
- Perform telephone triage, assess new patient calls, and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Deliver pre-operative and post-operative surgical teaching and comprehensive drain care instruction
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and facilitate patient navigation through breast cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Document patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately in the Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, social work, interpretation services, and other clinic team members to ensure holistic patient support
- Complete initial training week at the First Hill Clinic (Seattle) and float to other clinic locations as needed
