• Hours per week: 36

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130 - $2250/week

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN / Contract RN)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotations required
• On-Call: 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
• Float Pool: Float between Med/Surg, ICU, Telemetry and ED at local hospital locations

Required Qualifications (Travel RN / ICU RN)

• BSN required
• Current New York State (NYS) RN license
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care (ICU) settings — travel nursing experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or RQI)
• NIHSS certification
• Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Ability and willingness to float across ICU, Med/Surg and ED units
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; computer literate
• Preferred: ENA certification and TNCC within 2 years of hire

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry and ED units
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients across the lifespan
• Interpret patient data, recognize clinical changes and initiate appropriate interventions
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and a healing environment through effective communication and teamwork
• Participate in weekend, holiday and on-call rotations as scheduled
