- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Requirement: Saturdays

- Hourly Pay Rate: $55/hour
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,240–$1,330 per week
Job Requirements (Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist)
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent required
- Current certification as CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent (ASCP-certified preferred)
- Must meet CLIA '88 requirements for high-complexity testing
- Minimum 1 year of general laboratory experience preferred; previous hospital laboratory or acute care experience a plus
- Proficient in operation and troubleshooting of clinical laboratory instruments and laboratory information systems (LIS)
- Knowledge of quality control (QC), proficiency testing (PT), and regulatory compliance for clinical labs
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills for interacting with clinicians and lab staff
- Ability to stand, sit, or ambulate for the entire shift and safely move supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials; adherence to lab safety protocols required
Key Responsibilities – Clinical Laboratory / Hospital Laboratory
- Analyze clinical specimens according to laboratory procedures, ensuring sample integrity and appropriateness for testing
- Perform routine and specialized test procedures across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank as assigned
- Conduct quality control, instrument calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate, timely results
- Review and verify unusual or critical results; escalate to supervising technologist or pathologist per policy
- Maintain documentation, adhere to CLIA and hospital policies, and participate in proficiency testing and QA activities
- Support clinicians by providing reliable laboratory data to assist in patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Keep a safe, organized, and regulatory-compliant laboratory environment; follow infection control and safety protocols
- Adapt schedule or responsibilities as needed to meet laboratory staffing and skill set demands during the travel assignment
