Summary: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) – Travel | Seneca, SC: 13-week contract; SCRQSA and ARRT(N)/NMTCB required, EPIC EMR and Siemens PET/CT experience preferred. Join a collaborative hospital team near Lake Keowee and the Blue Ridge foothills.

Job Details
- Location: Seneca, SC 29672 (Upstate South Carolina — South Carolina nuclear medicine jobs)
- Setting: PET/CT Unit (Siemens PET/CT primary)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026)
- Schedule: Days – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel healthcare jobs, travel technologist jobs)
- Scrubs: Hunter Green
Minimum Qualifications / Certifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or PET/CT Technologist
- SCRQSA certification
- ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registered; ARRT(N)/NMTCB with CT registration (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) required for South Carolina
- BLS from AHA
- At least 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR (electronic medical record documentation)
- Required: Siemens PET/CT experience; GE & Philips experience preferred
- Proficiency in PET scan procedures, radiopharmaceutical handling, and radiation safety protocols
- Influenza vaccine required (no exemptions)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT scans and nuclear medicine procedures for adult patients with accuracy and compassion
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens PET/CT equipment; utilize GE and Philips systems when needed
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following radiation safety and regulatory guidelines
- Document procedures, images, and patient information accurately in EPIC EMR
- Start and maintain IVs as required for imaging protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Float to other qualified imaging or nuclear medicine units within the facility as needed
