Job Details — Travel Cath Lab RN / Cardiac Nurse

• Location: Margate, FL 33063 — South Florida, Broward County; easy access to beaches and cultural attractions
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing (Cath Lab RN)
• Start Date: February 23, 2026
• End Date: May 25, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1; 3 staff per room (4 for VT Ablation)
• Equipment: GE, ESI
• Documentation: Meditech, MacLab
• Scrubs: Facility provided via Scrub Ex
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250-$2370/week

Job Requirements — Cath Lab Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (U.S.)
• Minimum 1 year recent Cath Lab RN experience in an acute care setting (cardiac catheterization lab or electrophysiology lab)
• Current ACLS certification
• EKG training and proficiency interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Strong clinical skills with ability to function independently in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities — Cath Lab RN / Cardiac Nurse Duties

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensuring patient safety, monitoring, and comfort during procedures
• Assist with a variety of cardiac procedures including pacemaker implantations (all types), ablations (including VT Ablation), Watchman device placements, and cryoablation
• Support electrophysiology (EP) procedures and maintain 1:1 patient monitoring when required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RNs, RCIS, RT, CVT, department assistants, and leadership
• Operate and troubleshoot GE and ESI equipment as needed and document care using Meditech and MacLab systems
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control, and Cath Lab safety standards
