Travel OR RN – Boston, MA (02118). 14-week travel assignment at a Level I trauma center. Seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse / Perioperative Nurse with 2+ years of inpatient OR experience to join a fast-paced surgical team in Boston, Massachusetts.

• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: July 11, 2026
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day/Night rotation; days start 7am, nights start 7pm)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
• Schedule: Every 3rd weekend as needed, every other holiday, 1 call shift per schedule period
• Floating: May float to Moakley OR as needed
• Number of Positions: 3 Travel OR RN positions
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,190 - $2,310 per week

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of practice required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Competency in at least 5 surgical services (examples: general, gynecology, genitourinary, ENT, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, spine)
• Scrub experience preferred (scrub nurse or OR circulating nurse experience)
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a 17-room, 24/7 staffed Operating Room
• Function as OR circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse across multiple surgical specialties
• Participate in day/night rotations and cover scheduled weekends and holidays
• Complete 1 call shift per schedule period and float to other OR units as needed
• Work effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams in a high-acuity, Level I trauma center
• Demonstrate adaptability and clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment
