Required Qualifications (Hospital SLP / Inpatient)

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SLP in a hospital, LTACH, or similar healthcare setting (inpatient experience preferred)
• Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia, swallowing disorders, voice and speech-language disorders
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Protouch / Net Health preferred)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team

Core Responsibilities (Travel SLP / Rehab)

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia management)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and make appropriate diet/therapy recommendations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in the EMR system
• Provide patient and family education on therapy strategies and discharge planning
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to continuity of care
