- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night Shift ER RN / Night Shift Emergency Nurse
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating, up to 2 weekends per 4-week schedule
- Floating: Yes, as needed based on census or acuity
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1840 - $1940
- Hourly Pay Rate: $82/hr
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license (RN license required for New Mexico travel nursing)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- TNCC or ATCN certification required
- CPI or equivalent de-escalation training preferred
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ER / ED) RN experience required
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, trauma care, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care environment
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement emergency patient care specific to the Emergency Department, including rapid triage and focused assessments
- Deliver high-quality, efficient, and safe emergency nursing care in accordance with ED protocols and unit standards
- Respond effectively to emergency, trauma, and crisis situations; assist with airway management, intubation support, IV/IO access, medication administration, and patient stabilization
- Provide trauma nursing interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for emergent procedures
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect toward patients, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Float to other units as needed to support patient care and staffing across the facility
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold patient rights and confidentiality
- Participate in ongoing education, maintain required certifications (ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC/ATCN), and support continuous improvement initiatives
