We are seeking a skilled and motivated IR RN (Interventional Radiology Nurse / Travel RN) for a 13-week travel contract at a reputable healthcare facility. This state-of-the-art facility features two body IR suites, two neuro IR suites, one CT, and one US interventional room, plus a 12-bed Pre/Post area. • Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) — Travel Nurse / Travel RN
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 21, 2026)
• Setting: Interventional Radiology Department — body IR, neuro IR, CT and US-guided procedures
• Shift: 07:30 AM – 06:00 PM (10-hour days; 10-hour shift duration)
• Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
• On-Call: 2 weekends (Sat-Sun) and 1 weeknight per month
• Employment Type: Travel

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state eligibility) — travel nurse candidates welcome
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology (IR RN), hybrid IR/vascular lab, or similar acute care setting
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with image-guided procedures (angiography/fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) and peri-procedural patient monitoring preferred
• Ability to float among procedure areas and the 12-bed Pre/Post area as needed
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; familiarity with sterile technique and contrast administration a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for IR patients in all procedure rooms and the Pre/Post area, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care
• Assist with a variety of interventional procedures (body IR, neuro IR, CT-guided, and US-guided procedures)
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures; recognize and respond to changes in hemodynamic status
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, technologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation, uphold patient safety standards, and follow institutional protocols

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500–$2,630/week
