• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,490 - $2,670 per week

Pharmacy Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy / clinical pharmacist experience required
• Successful completion of all educational requirements for state licensure
• Current pharmacist state licensure required (must be valid for practice in Ohio or applicable state)
• BLS certification (if required by state employer)
• EPIC experience required (experience with inpatient electronic health record preferred)
• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Hospital Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain adequate drug supply; ensure timely procurement and inventory control
• Prepare, sterilize, and label parenteral medications and IV admixtures per policy
• Fill and dispense medications accurately, including stat and unit-dose orders
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations
• Conduct routine monthly inspections of patient care units and pharmacy areas
• Oversee control, storage, and documentation of controlled substances
• Participate in medication reconciliation and prepare discharge medication lists
• Provide patient discharge counseling and medication education to patients and families
• Support antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and pharmacokinetic/anticoagulation dosing management
• Participate in quality assurance programs, pharmacy committee meetings, and performance improvement
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information and promote medication safety
