• Shift: Day shifts, 8-hour (varied start times between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday; alternating weekends)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Visits per Day: 6–8 home visits
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,780 - $1,870 per week

Job Requirements (Home Health RN Qualifications)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health nursing experience (skilled home care required; private duty only experience not accepted)
• OASIS training and OASIS documentation experience required
• Infusion therapy experience; strong IV and phlebotomy skills
• Experience with wound care (including wound VAC and compression dressings), post-op care, and managing high-risk diagnoses (HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, stroke)
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home visits (home health travel requirement)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
• Flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)
• Recent patient care experience within the last 3 months
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility (per 100-mile radius rule) — applicable to travel RN applicants

Responsibilities (Homecare / Home Health Nurse Duties)

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes as a Home Health RN / Travel Nurse
• Perform thorough cardiopulmonary assessments and ongoing patient evaluation
• Deliver wound care services including wound VAC management and compression therapy
• Manage drains, catheters, PICC lines, midlines, and ports
• Administer IV therapy, SQ/IM injections, and perform phlebotomy
• Conduct admission assessments, recertifications, resumptions of care, and routine visits using OASIS documentation
• Use glucometers and pro-time devices as needed; document care using BayCare forms and Ace Timesheet system
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy
• Self-schedule visits and hours based on patient needs and office guidance
• Complete orientation and required training modules prior to start
