- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour days)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,810 - $1,940 per week
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (general ab, OB/GYN, and small parts preferred)
- ARDMS registry (RDMS/RDCS) preferred or registry-eligible
- Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal sonography is a plus
- Comfortable working on-site in a hospital radiology department and participating in scheduled on-call rotation
- Strong communication, patient-care, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients and handle imaging equipment safely
- Familiarity with RIS/PACS documentation and quality assurance processes
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and general sonography
- Assist radiologists and physicians to obtain accurate diagnostic images and provide timely reports
- Deliver compassionate patient care and clear patient/family communication during exams
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment; perform routine quality assurance and calibration checks
- Document procedures and images in RIS/PACS and maintain accurate patient records
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent imaging requests
- Follow infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and hospital policies
- Pursue continuing education to maintain professional competency in diagnostic medical sonography
