Job Details

• Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 (Travel Nursing – Lawrenceville healthcare job)
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN position
• Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,690 - $1,780 per week
• Unit: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) – post-op recovery / perioperative nursing
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU RN experience (post-anesthesia/post-op care)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible to practice in Georgia)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• Experience caring for immediate post-surgical patients recovering from general anesthesia
• Comfortable with a variety of surgical procedures: Gynecology (Gyn), ENT, Orthopedics (Ortho), General Surgery, Bariatrics
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must not reside within 50 miles of Lawrenceville, GA (travel nurse eligibility requirement)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures (post-op, PACU care)
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess patient recovery progress in the recovery room
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions from OR to PACU
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Document all care provided in accordance with hospital policies and electronic medical record (EMR) standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and their families
