- Shift: 12?hour night shifts (3 shifts per week, 36 hours/week) — night shift RN
- Number of Openings: 2
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,750 - $1,840/week
Key Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience (LTAC, sub?acute, or acute care preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized LTAC care plans
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide clinical supervision and direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and contribute to patient rehabilitation and discharge planning
- Initiate patient teaching and discharge planning from day of admission to support continuity of care
- Promote patient and employee safety by following facility policies and evidence?based practices
- Communicate clinical changes to the care team to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Maintain a positive, collaborative unit culture and support team efficiency; assume charge responsibilities as needed after orientation
