  • Shift: Day shifts 4x10 (06:30–17:00); variable shifts may include 8s, 10s, or 12s; on-call required
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,280 - $2,400 per week

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience with perioperative nursing expertise
  • Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers required
  • Active RN license (Nurse Licensure Compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at submission)
  • Graduate of ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • NIHSS certification
  • EPIC charting experience (EPIC proficiency preferred)
  • Two professional references (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leader)
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
  • Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after booking

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad surgical case mix: General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant.
  • Circulate in the OR with emphasis on Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC electronic health records.
  • Float to different units within the organization as needed to support patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotation: Mon–Fri 21:00–06:30; Sat–Sun split shifts 06:30–19:00 and 19:00–06:30; holiday and weekend coverage as required.
  • Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations as part of perioperative practice.
