• Location: Morgantown, WV 26505 (Morgantown, West Virginia travel nursing)
• Assignment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
• Setting: On-Site
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift
• Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour days)
• Shift Structure: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour days
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid State RN License
• BSN required
• Wound Care Certification — WCC required; CWCN, CWOCN, or CWS preferred
• BLS certification (prior to first shift)
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience (wound care or acute care experience preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the wound care program to enhance quality of care and patient outcomes
• Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and algorithms for wound management
• Establish and maintain standards of care across hospital programs in collaboration with wound care experts
• Develop educational modules and teaching tools for staff, patients, and families to support wound assessment and management
• Analyze wound care patterns and identify targeted performance improvement activities
• Coordinate competency evaluation and testing for professional staff
• Collaborate with medical leadership on wound care initiatives, research, and outcome measures
• Maintain and utilize databases to track staff education, competency, and credentials
• Promote and ensure patient and employee safety in all aspects of care
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the wound care and education departments
