- Assignment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
- Setting: On-Site
- Start Date: March 23, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift
- Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour days)
- Shift Structure: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour days
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 per week
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid State RN License
- BSN required
- Wound Care Certification — WCC required; CWCN, CWOCN, or CWS preferred
- BLS certification (prior to first shift)
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience (wound care or acute care experience preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership for the wound care program to enhance quality of care and patient outcomes
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols and algorithms for wound management
- Establish and maintain standards of care across hospital programs in collaboration with wound care experts
- Develop educational modules and teaching tools for staff, patients, and families to support wound assessment and management
- Analyze wound care patterns and identify targeted performance improvement activities
- Coordinate competency evaluation and testing for professional staff
- Collaborate with medical leadership on wound care initiatives, research, and outcome measures
- Maintain and utilize databases to track staff education, competency, and credentials
- Promote and ensure patient and employee safety in all aspects of care
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the wound care and education departments
