Job Details

• Location: Waimea, HI 96796 (Kauai) — local candidates and travel LPNs welcome
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic (Family Practice, Behavioral Health, OB, Urgent Care)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Outpatient LPN / Clinic Nurse)
• Start Date: March 5, 2026
• End Date: June 4, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasionally until 6:00 PM)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (80 hours every two weeks required)
• Shift: 10-hour days
• Openings: 3 LPN positions available
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250–$2,370/week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active LPN license in the applicable U.S. state
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting (Family Practice, Behavioral Health, Internal Medicine, or similar preferred)
• Current nursing certification; BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with flexibility for occasional extended hours
• Willingness to float to other clinic locations for coverage as needed
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in an outpatient clinic environment
• Support Family Practice, Behavioral Health, OB, and Urgent Care departments as needed
• Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders and clinic protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare staff to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Float to other clinic locations on Kauai when coverage is required
