- Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend rotation

- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,730 - $1,860 per week
Job Requirements (Qualifications)
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through the NBRC
- Valid Oklahoma Provisional / Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or Temporary letter to practice issued by the Oklahoma Medical Board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA (must be obtained within 2 months of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; critical care and general pediatric respiratory care experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for hospital and multidisciplinary team environments
- Basic PC skills for electronic charting, documentation, and data entry
Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services in accordance with hospital standards and department policies
- Provide respiratory care interventions for non-critical and critical care patients, including pediatric populations
- Manage mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive); monitor patient parameters and adjust ventilator settings as indicated
- Administer aerosolized medications, nebulizer and metered dose inhaler therapy, humidity and aerosol therapy, PEP therapy, incentive spirometry, and medical gas administration
- Perform airway management skills: suctioning, intubation assistance, extubation support, CPR, and assist with bronchoscopy
- Perform chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, and other respiratory assessments and interventions
- Document clinical information and physician orders accurately and promptly in the medical record (electronic charting)
- Respond promptly to code blues, RIT/CRIT calls, and patient transports; demonstrate professional judgment during emergent situations
- Mentor and precept new personnel and participate in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives
- Organize and prioritize workload to deliver safe, patient-centered respiratory care and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and medical staff
