- Location: Hermiston, Oregon (97838) — Hermiston, OR travel nurse opportunity
- Assignment Type: Travel (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)

- End Date: June 30, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour days)
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2180-$2290/week

Job Requirements – Med/Surg RN Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required (Med/Surg RN experience)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice
- BSN, MSN, and CMSRN certification preferred
Responsibilities – Medical-Surgical Nursing and Patient Care
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures (perioperative & postoperative care)
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
- Initiate and update computerized Plan of Care / electronic health record (EHR) on admission
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments under appropriate supervision
- Float to other departments as qualified (cross-training and clinical support)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy and compassion
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Participate in required education and training programs
