• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,810–$1,940/week

• Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health (hospital-based)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour days, Monday–Friday)
• Weekly Hours: 40 (No weekends or on-call required)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, Child/Adolescent
• Unit Size: 120 beds; typical patient ratio 1:8
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner (clinical documentation required)

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
• Independent licensure required: LMHC, LICSW, or LCSW (Massachusetts licensure preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in inpatient behavioral health, including group therapy, psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
• Proven experience with diverse populations (adult, geriatric, child/adolescent)
• Comfortable floating between units to cover adult, geriatric, and child/adolescent populations
• Professional, business casual attire (jeans acceptable on Fridays)
• Strong documentation skills in Cerner or similar EHR systems

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions on inpatient behavioral health units using evidence-based interventions
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and suicide/risk assessments
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, case managers) to ensure coordinated care
• Float between adult, geriatric, and child/adolescent units as needed to meet patient care demands
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in Cerner and participate in treatment team meetings
• Provide education and support to patients and families, facilitating transitions of care
