- Shifts: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed

- Charting System: MEDITECH (electronic health record experience preferred)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910-$2010/week
Job Requirements
- Active RN license (must be valid for assignment location)
- Minimum 1 year recent ICU experience, preferably in surgical trauma, post-op, or critical care settings
- Current ACLS and BLS (AHA); NIHSS certification required
- Experience with trauma, burns, orthopedics, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and complex surgical cases highly preferred
- Experience with CRRT, dialysis, and Open Heart recovery is a plus
- Ability to work within a 75-mile radius restriction
- Strong critical care assessment, ventilator management, and medication administration skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients in the STICU (critical care nursing)
- Monitor, assess, and rapidly respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced life support as indicated (ACLS-level interventions)
- Care for patients requiring CRRT, dialysis, and post-open heart recovery management
- Accurate documentation using MEDITECH and adherence to unit protocols
- Float to Medical ICU as needed if STICU beds are limited
