Job Details – Travel RN Position

• Location: Falmouth, MA 02540 (Cape Cod, Massachusetts)
• Role: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) / Telemetry RN – Travel
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry (FHA Float)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing assignment (Travel RN)
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• End Date: July 11, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week (guaranteed)
• Shift: Rotating Evenings/Nights, 7p–7a; every other weekend; rotating holidays
• Float: May float between FHA and CCH as needed

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,360 - $2,480 per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (Med-Surg Tele RN)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• IV therapy experience and ability to perform independent phlebotomy
• Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam (telemetry competency)

Clinical Responsibilities – Med/Surg Telemetry RN

• Coordinate total nursing care for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients using the nursing process
• Provide patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Safely administer medications and manage patients receiving IV therapy
• Perform phlebotomy and manage patients on continuous telemetry monitoring
• Document patient care accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Deliver effective patient and family teaching focused on discharge planning and self-care
• Respond appropriately in emergency and urgent situations (code response and rapid assessment)
• Provide post-operative care, including patients with orthopedic diagnoses
• Manage patients with chest drainage devices and those receiving epidural analgesia
• Demonstrate competency in administration and assessment of cardiac medications and telemetry interpretation
• Identify and report signs and symptoms of neglect/abuse according to Massachusetts law
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and registrations
• Other duties as assigned to support patient care and unit workflow
