- Location: Hobbs, NM 88240 (southeastern New Mexico)
- Role: Travel Hospital Pharmacist / Acute Care Pharmacist / Inpatient Pharmacist
- Assignment Type: Travel assignment – Acute Care Hospital
- Duration: 26 weeks (April 6, 2026 – October 5, 2026)
- Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off (Wednesday–Tuesday)
- Shift Hours: 10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:00)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280–$2,450
- On-Call: Required during 7-day on rotation (negotiable)
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Charting System: Epic (Epic pharmacist experience required)

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active and valid Pharmacist license (compact license accepted; license must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care / inpatient pharmacy experience (inpatient pharmacist or clinical pharmacist experience)
- IV Certification and RPh credentials required
- Experience with Epic electronic health record required (Epic pharmacist)
- Strong clinical skills in anticoagulation therapy, warfarin dosing, cardiac dosing, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetics, renal dosing, and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Proficiency with Pyxis, inpatient/acute care workflows, sterile compounding and aseptic technique
- Ability to work 7-on/7-off block schedule, including every other weekend and participation in on-call rotation
- Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years
- Must commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Responsibilities (Inpatient/Acute Care Pharmacist)
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population within a 61-bed acute care hospital
- Prepare, compound, and dispense medications following hospital protocols and sterile technique
- Monitor, adjust, and recommend medication therapies including anticoagulation, cardiac, pediatric, and renal dosing
- Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and provide pharmacokinetic dosing recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all clinical interventions and medication activities accurately in Epic
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide scheduled weekend coverage
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
