- Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:30)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2010 per week
- Floating: Required within ICU step-down, Brain Health (neuro critical care), and LTC Ventilator units
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
- Holiday Coverage: Must work every other holiday as scheduled
Minimum Job Requirements (Qualifications)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU or step-down (critical care nursing) experience required
- Valid Maryland RN or Compact RN license (must be active at time of submission)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record (EHR) / Cerner charting required
- Experience with ventilator management, telemetry monitoring, and neuro/brain health patients highly preferred
- LTAC, trauma (Level I) experience preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and clinical assessment skills
- References required
- Ability to float between ICU step-down, Brain Health (neuro), and LTC Ventilator units as needed

Core Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and evidence-based critical care nursing in ICU step-down, Brain Health (neuro), and LTC Ventilator units
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical and neurological conditions; prioritize patient safety and clinical outcomes
- Manage patients requiring ventilator support, telemetry, and acute rehabilitation interventions
- Administer medications and blood products; manage specialty equipment including G-tubes, PICC lines, chest tubes, high-flow nasal cannula, tracheostomies, and mechanical ventilation
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias; perform 12-lead EKG/ECG and participate in code/emergency responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy to coordinate patient-centered care
- Provide patient and family education, support rehabilitation activities (group and one-on-one), and contribute to discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to facility attendance, punctuality, and orientation/virtual module completion policies
